Papi Delbard® is an exceptional climbing rose from Georges Delbard, created as a heartfelt tribute to Georges Delbard himself on the 60th anniversary of the renowned Delbard rose house. Chosen personally by the founder at the age of 86, this variety reflects a lifetime of horticultural passion, elegance, and emotion.
Its large, very double cup-shaped blooms display a warm and glowing blend of apricot, salmon, pink, and orange tones, reminiscent of a sunset. The flowers carry a charming old-rose style, delicately shaped and richly layered.
Flowering is repeat blooming from May until the first frosts, ensuring months of beauty on walls, arches, pergolas, or trellises. The fragrance is one of its greatest treasures: intense, fruity, and vibrant, evoking a cocktail of grapefruit, apricot, peach, and lemongrass.
Vigorous and flexible in growth, Papi Delbard® can reach an impressive height of 2 to 3 m, making it ideal for adding vertical romance and perfume to the garden. Its glossy dark green deciduous foliage is known for good natural disease resistance and strong garden reliability.
