Dames de Chenonceau® is an elegant and romantic rose from Georges Delbard, created as a floral tribute to the famous Château de Chenonceau in the Loire Valley. Inspired by the strength, grace, and femininity of the historic women who shaped this legendary place, this variety carries a refined and timeless character.
Its large, very double blooms open in soft pastel pink tones with subtle nuances and an old-fashioned charm. Flowering is repeat blooming, producing successive waves of roses from spring until the first frosts.
One of its most remarkable features is its complex and sophisticated fragrance. Bright notes of orange and anise appear first, followed by a floral heart of narcissus, resting on a deeper base of leather, civet, and watery fruits, completed by fresh leafy accents.
