Alexandra David-Neel® is a rare and elegant rose created by Georges Delbard in tribute to the legendary explorer and writer Alexandra David-Neel, the first European woman to enter Lhasa in Tibet. Just like the remarkable woman it honours, this rose embodies independence, depth, and a spirit of discovery.
Its large blooms appear in generous clusters throughout the season, each flower measuring around 9 cm and composed of more than 60 finely cut petals. The colour is a deep mauve-pink, rich and intense, bringing a distinctive presence to borders and garden beds.
Flowering is repeat blooming from May until the first frosts. The fragrance is powerful and refined, dominated by floral notes of rose, lilac, and ivy, giving this variety a truly memorable perfume signature.
